The Elishewitz F.T.W.S. is a knife that has many purposes. It was designed as a heavy duty tactical fixed blade knife but this knife is more than just a tactical knife. The blade is 6.3 inches long and has duel chisel ground edges on both sides of the blade. The tip is a modified spear point and the entire blade is powder coated black. The handle is textured Zytel and is easy to hang on to when it is wet. The sheath is Cordura with a Zytel insert and is MOLLE compatible. The only thing I would like to see CRKT do is streamline the sheath. It is very big and bulky. I would like to see it come with just a Zytel sheath that is MOLLE compatible. This is a big knife that you could attach to your MOLLE gear and use it for cutting rope, cord, as a pry tool, or a self defense weapon. This knife would be equally as useful removing a quarter of a bull elk. The duel edges and the length of the blade make this an excellent choice for quarter of huge game animals.
