Today we went back to the range and did some more work on the shooting tower. We installed the safety railing. I need a little more material to finish the railing and the stairs.
After we had the railing up all the way it was time to do a little shooting.
My Dad had his Remington 700 with him and he needed to see how his new load was going to shoot so we started with the steel at 300 yards and worked out to 800 yards.
Here is a photo of the steel he shot at 800 yards. The three impacts with the splatter marks are from today. We had a little wind to deal with coming from our 9 o’clock. It took a 2 mil hold to get the hits at 800 yards.
